Priyanka Chopra Jonas Embraces Evolution in Hollywood with 'Heads of State'

Actor Priyanka Chopra Jonas, renowned for her work in Hindi cinema, emphasizes that success is about continuous growth. Currently, she is focused on broadening her film career in Hollywood. In her latest film, 'Heads of State', she portrays Noel Bisset, an MI6 agent with a complex history involving British Prime Minister Sam Clarke, played by Idris Elba. Priyanka expressed her satisfaction with her achievements in India and her aspirations for similar success in Hollywood.
“It’s definitely a journey of constant evolution. Back in 2002, when I began my acting career, I could never have envisioned where I would be today. However, I feel like I am still at the beginning of my journey in the West. My Indian filmography is extensive, allowing me to explore various genres and collaborate with remarkable actors and directors,” she shared.
Priyanka has taken on significant roles in various productions, including 'Quantico', 'Baywatch', 'Citadel', 'The Matrix Resurrections', and 'Love Again'. She described 'Heads of State', now available on Prime Video, as an enjoyable project. “I strive to be proud of the roles I choose. I prefer characters that are strong, have agency, and contribute meaningfully to the story rather than merely serving as decorative elements,” she noted.
During the filming of 'Heads of State', Priyanka met John Cena, who is well-known in India for his WWE career before transitioning to acting. “I was aware of John from his WWE days in India; he has a significant fan base there. It’s hard not to know him, especially after his successful shift to films. I found his choice of roles intriguing, and I was thrilled to work alongside him in this movie,” she added.
